About Us
Our micro-bakery is based at our home. We offer local delivery. Due to the time it takes to produce using the traditional method which typically takes 3 days, orders have to be received by Monday for Thursday delivery of that week between 4.00pm - 6.00pm.
We hope to expand with more delivery days per week later in the year.
Meet our baker
Sue is a qualified pastry chef having learnt her craft by achieving a Diploma in Patisserie at the prestigious Ashburton Chefs Academy in Devon almost three years ago.
She has always been passionate about food. She learnt the ancient art of making sourdough bread during her study at the Academy and now enjoys giving her love and attention to produce something so delicious. Her goal is to expand the range to include pastries, cakes, sweet buns and desserts.
Sue has a background in finance for almost three decades, having held managerial roles in retail banking and head of accounts in the legal sector. She is also AAT qualified.

Chief Taster
Richard has the title of Chief Taster and head of quality control. His role is to sample any new lines and to give his approval before they are listed on the menu.
Prior to being introduced to sourdough bread, Richard was sceptical whether he would like it but from his first taste, changed his mind on the mass produced supermarket bread. Now he enjoys a slice of toasted country sourdough with his marmalade most mornings. He thinks more people should discover how tasty sourdough bread is.
Richard is the pillar behind Sue and has given his full support in establishing the micro-bakery by getting the kitchen ready as well as running his own business. In so far to say, it may not have happened without him. Thank you Richard.
